What better way to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday than reading to a child. Dr. Seuss epitomizes a love of children and learning. His use of rhyme makes his books an effective tool for teaching young children the basic skills thay need to be successful. When we celebrate Dr. Seuss and reading, we send a clear message to America's children that reading is fun and important.

On Monday, March 2, we will celebrate Dr. Suess's birthday with a birthday cake, and rumor has it that we will have a special visitor with a very tall hat. We will spend the entire week reading the wonderful books of Dr. Seuss.  

It was a wonderful morning on Monday, January 5, to see all our students return. I do believe they grew an inch or two. This time of year is always special in the preschool, as we see so much physical and cognitive growth since the start of school in August. Please remember to join us every morning at 8:15 for the preschool sing a-long in room A.

February 20- Open House from 6:00-8:00 p.m. bring family and friends.

It was absolutely wonderful to see all the new and returning students this week. I look forward to getting to know all our new families as the year unfolds. Please join us on the following evenings in September.
