• Thought for the New Year...

 Naivety is child's reality that adults must cherish.

The New Year will be filled with busy little feet and smiley little faces as we welcome back approximately 152 precious preschoolers.

*The 3 year old classes will:

 continue their journey through the alphabet, concentrating on letters  l,m,o , as well as color, shape and number recognition.

*The pre-k classes will:

 continue their journey through the alphabet ,concentrating on the letters  m,n ,o.

* Phonemic  Awareness- They will continue with their oral blending and listening for the final consonant sounds in words. Look for the introduction of a few new high frequency words.

All students will continue building their vocabulary, building blocks, building friendships, building confidence, and building character. Our Character Counts pillar for the month of January is "Fairness." The students will read and learn about "Fran the Fair Frog."

SANTA CLAUS!

Classroom parties will be on Wednesday, December 19, for the MWF classes and Thursday, December 20, for the rest of the preschool. Our winter break is from December 21-January 4, 2008.

We will continue building our vocabulary, building blocks, building confidence and building character. Our Character Counts word of the month is "responsibility."  The students will read and learn about Roy the Responsible Rabbit.
