I want to congratulate the Anaheim Hills Pentathlon students and coaches.  The 7th grade Pentathlon team won 1st place in the county.  We entered two 8th grade teams and they won 1st and 2nd place.  The students and coaches worked very hard to prepare for this competition and their hard work obviously paid off.  Way to go Cougars!  We are all very proud of you!

We had another car broken into this week and a purse stolen.  The Anaheim Police told me that this has been a huge problem at schools, gyms, restaurants and even churches.  It has happened a few times at the Anaheim Hills campus this year.  Please do not leave any valuables visible in your vehicles.  I have ordered two security cameras and the Anaheim Police will try to be more visible in our parking lots.  Also, please let us know if you see people walking around our parking lots who you do not recognize.

I want to wish our Debate team the best of luck during their competition at Nationals this weekend in Claremont. We are all so proud of our team because it is their first year in debate competition and they have done extremely well. Good luck Coach Mead, Oz, Jay, Jason, Ryan, Joel and Divya.  Our Cougars rule!

Our 7th and 8th grade Pentathlon teams travel to Bolsa Grande High School on Saturday, April 5th for their annual academic competition.  Pentathlon teams compete in five subjects: Math, Essay, History, Science and Literature.  Both of our teams took first place in the county competiton last year. We are very proud of these students for working so hard to prepare for this competition.  Good luck Pentathlon students and coaches.
