Don't Miss The Upcoming Events at Mable Campus!

We have a great deal in store for our parents here at Mable Campus.  This week we are hosting our annual Mini Open Houses.  These Open Houses give parents an opportunity to visit next year's classrooms and to meet the teachers who will be teaching their children in the 2008-2009 school year.  The dates are are as follows:

     K into 1st  and  1st into 2nd -         Tuesday, April 15

     2nd into 3rd   and  3rd into 4th -     Wednesday, April 16

     4th into 5th  and  5th into 6th -       Thursday, April 17

We look forward to seeing all of our parents at these Mini Open Houses.

On Sunday, April 27, from 1:00 to 4:00 we will be hosting a Community Open House.  This event is for new families to see our school, learn about our programs, and have some fun.  It is also an opportunity for our current families to bring a friend to see all that our school has to offer.  The theme of this day is reading, and we have partnered with the Anaheim Public Library to present an exciting program for parents.  The children will be entertained with activities which include a jump house and hands on science.  It's going to be an afternoon filled with both information and fun.

On Wednesday, April 30, from 7:00 to 8:00 in the evening, our school counselor, Jill Thomas, will be presenting on an important topic for all parents - The Path to Independence and how it leads to the creation of self-worth in children.  Mrs. Thomas is licensed in Marriage and Family Counseling and works with all of the Fairmont campuses.  I hope our parents make time to attend this valuable presentation.  Refreshments will be served from 6:30.  I will see you there!

Holiday Greetings and Good Wishes for the New Year

Here's wishing everyone a very Happy Holiday and a prosperous, healthy New Year.  Please take time to enjoy your children - especially their vacation away from homework!  We have many exciting things planned for the new year and look forward to sharing all of them with our students and their families.  Time passes so quickly, we sometimes forget to appreciate each day.  I hope that is something we can all work on for the new year.  Our sincere wishes for the best for all of you.

Candy, Candy Everywhere!

Parents, you are all invited to our 8:30 am flag salute tomorrow, Wednesday, November 7.  Our campus has donated so much candy to send to our soldiers in Iraq.  Your generosity and that of your children continue to amaze all of us.  We will be presenting our collection of sweet treats to representatives from our military at this flag salute.  Red, white, and blue are the colors of the day.  We hope our students will wear their red uniform polos if they have one.  All of our students will have little flags for the occasion, thanks to the generosity of our wonderful Parent Association.  Thanks from our hearts to all of you!!  We hope to see you tomorrow morning.
